My friends, a war has come to light in this day of our new administration. This war has been looking us in the face for a long time. It has been planned for over 40 years and has now found the attention of America. Such a war is a political war that has not been compiled by Democrats, Republicans, Constitutionalist, Libertarians, or other political parties. It has been waged by individuals in our government that come from all parties and walks of life. This is a war that our government would like the people of America to think cannot be won. A war of money, power and control by all parties that believe they will not be affected by the changes that are taking place today.
As I look forward in the future of our country, I can only see Socialism as a means that our administration will oppress on the people of this country. Our politicians have talked down to the American people that show concern over the pushing through of government run programs. Programs that are meant to socialize the people of this country. We have seen people from foreign countries stand up and speak out against policies that are being put into place, and our administration is unable to see the lasting effects of the socialistic policies. As our two party system continues in the federal government, we will see huge swings back and forth between the conservative and the liberals. This is something that will naturally happen as administrations change. The problem with the system is that the American people have been placed outside the confines of our political system. Our politicians understand that this had to be done in order to stay in power. The Americans have forgotten that they are the very power that the government has taken away from us. To regain our country and get back to the founding ideas and constitutional principles that our country was founded on, we will have to win this war. We can no longer go on with life as we have done for so many years, and leave our government in the hand of people who believe they are better than we are.
As a candidate for the US Senate, I have many things in place to take care of the expanding government control in our nation. Moving our country to a true free market health care plan, enforcing immigration laws, and holding our politicians accountable for what is done in our country will turn this country back into a constitutional based society. By returning the power back to the people, we will take back the control that is being passed from the top down. In the correct and proper role of government, the power should start at the bottom and then go up. A top down power system is Socialism, not freedom.
As I move forward, I will start to make changes that will benefit the people of this country, not the politicians. As a representative of Utah, I am elected to stand for the principles of the people in this state. Not a political career. We need to get government out of our health care system, our education system, and out of our everyday lives in our state. We need to start teaching our children responsibility, hard work, ethics and the benefits of failure and success. Then we can start moving to lower taxes by doing away with entitlement programs, redundant programs, and wasted money given freely to other countries.

Freedom (political), the absence of interference with the sovereignty of an individual by the use of coercion or aggression. One major approach to economic freedom comes from the libertarian tradition emphasizing free markets and private property.
The cold hard truth:
Americans are starting to take a look at our government and our elected officials. As a country, we have started to make changes in the federal government and legislation. As America moves forward we will see huge changes in politicians and need to get the complacent and compliant Senators and Legislatures out of office. We have to elect good, hard working people into office as our representatives. As I look forward into the future, I only ask that we need not be afraid of change. This country has changed many times in the last two hundred years. And we are going to change as we move forward. I understand that change is something that will happen naturally as time moves forward, but I also understand that this country will remain a great nation if we follow the Constitution of the United States, The Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence.
The first thing that needs to change in this country is the two part system that has stolen control away from the American people. As an American I can see that the Republican and the Democratic parties in whole are moving in the same direction. Let’s take a look at the direction our country is going and the policies that have been implemented.
1. Further gun control; you have to remember that most of things that are being implemented are done with scare tactics. Try and take your weapons across state lines, you will no longer have carried weapon permits in any other state. My big question is: Do criminals follow this same law and not conceal their weapons? I would have to say no, because it’s against the law. And criminals always follow the laws of the states. That’s why their criminals. Imagine that.
2. T.A.R.P – This is a funny thing that has been pushed under the rug by our Republican Party. This is something that has been done to continue the political career of our representatives. But this program has socialized a huge portion of our economy. The banking industry, the insurance industry, and Wall Street. $700 billion dollars stolen away from American tax payers. Yes I used the word “stolen”. I use that word because we as Americans did not vote for this T.A.R.P package. We can give thanks to Senator Bob Bennett of that one. But Remember, the Senator claims he did not vote for the Bail Out package. But T.A.R.P is exactly that; bail out money paid by you.
3. Then we have the Auto industry “Bail out Package”. This package has done nothing for the economy but put people out of work. The un-employment rate increased, the AUW has ownership, and the government has control. At what point in our country did Union Workers have the right to be appointed by the government owners of any business or corporation? The government has not been able to successfully run any business or any company and be profitable.
4. We now have Health Care on the table. . This is something that will put the government in a place that the American people will have no control over our right, freedoms, and liberties.

p.22 It mandates that the government will audit the books of ALL EMPLOYERS who self-insure.
p. 30, sec. 123 There will be GOVERNMENT determined acceptable treatments and benefits for illnesses
p. 29, lines 4-16 provides for "rationing" of health care in circumstances dictated by Health Care Authority.
p. 42 "Health Choices Commission" will choose benefits
p. 50 health care will be provided to all non-U. S. citizens, "undocumented" or not.
p.58 government will have real time access to individuals' finances and a national ID Healthcare card will be issued to all citizens
p. 59, lines 21-24 government will have direct access to citizens' bank accounts for elective funds transfer
p. 65, sec. 164 government will pay off a subsidized health care plan for Unions and "Community Organizations" (read "Acorn")
p. 84, line 7 authority to specify exact benefit levels for all plan groups
p. 91, lines 4-7 government mandates linguistics appropriate for services (example: translation for illegal aliens)
